Loud Camel

Ethics

Our principles. Our constraints. Our mistakes.

Who We Help

Loud Camel is designed for researchers whose work has genuine scholarly merit but lacks visibility. We will not help someone gain attention for research we believe is fraudulent, plagiarized, or harmful.

No Ghostwriting

We generate draft emails, Reddit comments, and discussion posts. You always review, edit, and approve before sending. We're a tool, not a ghostwriter. You own your voice.

Not Spam

We surface relevant scholars and opportunities. We don't generate unsolicited bulk outreach. Our goal is to help you connect meaningfully, not flood inboxes.

Respect for Scholars

Scholars we surface are not informed that they were identified by an AI system. We use only publicly available information. We don't purchase or sell researcher data.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data or attention to anyone
  • We don't help with deception or misrepresentation
  • We don't generate automated outreach at scale
  • We don't compete with or undermine the communities we serve

Our Mistakes

We're an early-stage operation. We will make mistakes—suggesting irrelevant scholars, misunderstanding your work, generating tone-deaf draft emails. If that happens, tell us. We'll fix it and learn.

Feedback
